quarter.

Um let's just talk about this....
I'm going to be a quarter of a century old next weekend. May 6th to be specific.
I LOVE birthday celebrations and all but 25...whoa.

The Coach asked me what I'd like to do to celebrate and in an attempt to think of something fun I started looking at past year birthday parties...check these out :-)
Turning 24 in Lexington with my best friends.

Turning 23 in Tampa with a beach weekend.

Turing 21. (that's the coach to my left- when we dated the first time, ha ha)

21 at Derby.

So what do you think we should do this year? Any suggestions? 25 is going to be a big year, I think. I'd  like to start it off right! How do you celebrate your birthday?? I'd love to know!

Love & Peace!

Our AMAZING vacation.

The Coach and I had a really awesome trip home to Tampa last week and we are more ready now than ever to get home. Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our trip!

Spending the dad with my sister and her family.

A little dinner at one of my favorite places in Tampa- Stonewood Grill.

Enjoying the nice weather.

Easter Sunday- looking a little washed out but still a nice picture.

Playing trains together at my sister's house.

We also spent some time assembling our wedding invitations- what a pain in the butt.

I am so in love with this little baby. My sister kept teasing me that Annabelle was a like a real live doll to me. I could have played with her and cuddled her for days and days.

She sat with Amanda like a little princess while we go our toes done! It was so cute!

Pushing the kiddos at the park.

THIS IS THE BEST PICTURE OF ALL...WE'LL BE MOVING IN HERE, TO THIS HOUSE, IN 40 DAYS!!!
I just can't stand it, I'm so stinkin' excited to be out of The Shoebox!

I'll be back with more regular posts next week! Only 25 days til Summer! Please do me a favor and say a prayer that things continue to be peaceful at school. The end of a school year can be such a stressful time- I hope everything continues to be as it has been since Christmas. But your prayers are always appreciated.

Love & Peace.

The Ultimate Sacrifice

Yesterday the Coach and I learned that his cousin, Aaron had been killed in Afghanistan. The family is obviously grieving a great deal right now and your prayers would be greatly appreciated. You can read the heartbreaking story here.

“Love is stronger than death even though it can't stop death from happening, but no matter how hard death tries it can't separate people from love. It can't take away our memories either. In the end, life is stronger than death.”

Love & Peace.

Sweet Sunday.

Um, we slept in. We're supposed to leave for Church by 8:40 (at the latest) at 8:33 I was still blow drying my hair. Yikes! 11:30 service it is!

So we took a little Sunday morning detour and we went to breakfast before Church. Our town got an IHOP not too long ago and we'd yet to frequent that Breakfast establishment so we finished getting ready for church and went over there first. Let me take just a moment to talk about the premium parking this morning- we were as close to the door as I've ever been and while I don't mind walking at all, there is a great deal of joy that I find in getting premium parking. I already pretend I'm Queen of the universe so when I do get premium parking it just reaffirms my delusions.
Anywho, I wish I'd taken a picture of my food because it was SO GOOD. I always get Pancakes at IHOP as a matter of principle (it is the International House of PANCAKES, y'all!) but today I took a risk and ordered the Stuffed French Toast with Blueberries. Soooo worth it. It's really sweet so pair it with something like bacon and you'll be in Hog Heaven! I'm thinking I could make it at home!

In other news, I've been on Southern Living's website all afternoon. I have been getting so many great ideas for the house in Tampa (we're officially moving June 12th, by the way) and I want to share with you the link to the Georgia Idea house- I'm thinking once we're relocated down south the Coach and I are going to have to make a trip up to Senioa, Georgia and tour this place. If it were a detached home, It would be my dream home! So here it is!

I mean just look at this kitchen! LOVE!

I really hope you're all having a great Sunday, bloggers! I've got to get up and get to cleaning the Shoebox before the week starts but I'll leave you with a few pictures of our Sunday on my way out!
Glad we made to the late service today!
The Coach. He hates when I force him to smile for my camera. Typical man.
I wore my UK blue today to celebrate their win!
Coach rewarded me for my excellent Church behavior, ha ha.
Love & Peace!
